A 96 sqm apartment in Piraiki, Piraeus, fully renovated in 2022. The project was realized through the close collaboration of GALILEOS | JOHN GRILLAS PARTNERS with m2architects, led by architect Manolis Metridis, sharing a common approach to architectural design and comprehensive technical implementation. At the heart of the apartment, a single volume was placed to mark the now-unique passage from the common areas to the private ones.
Clad in wood, the volume encloses the bathroom and creates a pleasant optical illusion so that it goes unnoticed by visitors — the bathroom door was designed to disappear into the wooden surface that surrounds it. At the same time, the same volume forms the entrance wardrobe, with multiple storage spaces and practical functions. The apartment's energy class is A and it includes a parking space.
