The Onassis Stegi (Stegi Grammaton kai Technon) is one of Athens' most important cultural buildings, distinguished by its semi-transparent facade of vertical marble elements that "wraps" the building. GALILEOS | John Grillas Partners took part in the project by providing technical consulting and detailed-design support, drawing on its experience with demanding public and cultural projects.
The building houses a main theatre hall of over 900 seats, a smaller hall, exhibition spaces and underground parking, with particular requirements in acoustic design, natural lighting and the management of large open interior volumes.
