The Kythnos Residences complex is located in the Merichas area of Kythnos, with a total area of 360 sqm across six independent single-family houses. Due to the site's steep terrain, the houses were designed as semi-underground structures, embedded into the slope to minimize their visual footprint on the landscape and take advantage of the ground's natural insulation. The project is the result of the creative and technical collaboration of GALILEOS | JOHN GRILLAS PARTNERS with m2architects, led by architect Manolis Metridis, aiming for a complete and refined design.
The design is fully harmonized with the natural surroundings, with local Kythnos stone as the dominant material on both the facades and the surrounding retaining walls. Each residence has its own pool and private outdoor space, while heating and cooling are provided by a heat pump. The six residences, in accordance with the approved Energy Performance Certificate, are classified as energy class A and include parking spaces.
