Plex-Earth is a plug-in that connects AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BricsCAD directly to Google Earth, Bing Maps and other satellite-imagery sources. It allows aerial imagery, terrain relief and elevation data to be imported straight into the drawing, giving an immediate real-world geographic context for a project.
It is widely used by civil engineers and design offices for preliminary design, feasibility studies and renewable-energy projects, and it also allows drawings to be exported back from AutoCAD into Google Earth for three-dimensional visualisation.
